Getting Started
Overview
What Magpie is and the problem it solves.
Magpie is meme token infrastructure deployed on BSC, built around two core modules: a token launchpad (bonding-curve mechanism) and the Magpie locking mechanism, complemented by two user-growth modules — a points system and a referral system.
The meme market's biggest problem is that everyone races to sell — nothing incentivizes holding. Magpie makes holding commitments credible via contracts: quitters pay in tokens, holders earn extra rewards, solving the prisoner's dilemma at the mechanism level.
Two Core Modules
| Module | Purpose | Key mechanism |
|---|---|---|
| Token Launchpad | Launch meme tokens with zero liquidity barrier | Bonding-curve market making; auto-graduates to PancakeSwap at 80% sold |
| Magpie Locking | Reward long-term holding, punish early exits | Personal / collective pools, time- or price-based commitments, penalty redistribution |
Two Growth Modules
- Points system: earn points from trades, daily check-ins, and daily tasks — a record of platform contribution
- Referral system: one-level referrals bound forever; 10% of invitee trading fees returned as points
Deployment Chain
Launching first on BSC — ultra-low gas, ideal for high-frequency meme trading. Expansion to Base and other EVM chains will follow based on market conditions.
